Fit
Comfort Colors 1717 runs relaxed and boxy — it's a heavyweight garment-dyed tee, not a fitted one. If you want it closer to the body, size down. If you want the oversized look the blank is known for, take your usual size or go up one.
Unisex sizing, S through 2XL.
Care
- Wash cold, inside out, with like colours.
- Tumble dry low, or hang it.
- Don't iron directly on the print.
- No bleach — garment-dyed cotton takes it badly.
Garment-dyed cotton is meant to move a little in the first wash. That's the process working, not a fault. The colour settles and the fabric softens; by the third wash it's the shirt you reach for.
Prints and embroidery
Printed designs are direct-to-garment, so the ink sits in the fabric rather than on top of it — no heavy plastic feel, and it ages with the shirt.
Embroidered designs are stitched. Turn them inside out to wash and they'll outlast everything else in the drawer.
